National Gallery: Raphael API

The Raphael Research Resource began to examine how complex conservation, scientific and art historical research could be combined in a flexible digital form. In addition to the main user interface the data stored within the system is now also accessible in the the form of open linkable data combined with a SPARQL end-point. Further detail relating to the worked examples along with the code used to build them was presented as part of a workshop at Interface2011.

Presenting web access to RDF Triples

The systems used to present and query the Raphael API and the soon to be National Gallery API make use of a custom National Gallery, London: 4-Store PHP Interface.
